Confused about Medicare?
Brad and I talk to people all of the time who are confused about Medicare and when they can make changes to their plans. We remind them that Medicare's Open Enrollment (Oct. 15 - Dec. 7) is the only time during the year that they can change their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan benefits for the next year. It is also the only time they can disenroll from a Medicare Advantage plan. We were very busy from October 15 through December 7. That's why we haven't blogged...time just wouldn't allow it.
Open Enrollment has ended, but some changes can still be made!
For those of you with Medicare and a standard Medicare Supplement policy (Medicap policy) you can make changes to your coverage any time during the year. So, if you have questions about your policy's coverage, price increases or service you can still make changes. You will need to answer some health questions and possibly do an underwriting phone interview to make a change, but you may save lots of $$$! You can change your benefits to meet your personal needs and fit your budget. And you can find an agent that will give you the personal service you deserve.
